The West Island CALACS is committed to the inclusion of diverse women in its hiring process. This is why we are continually working on our hiring policy and tools to ensure that all women, regardless of their origin or sexual orientation, can access employment within our organization. At this time, we do not have any positions available, but we invite you to consult this site regularly to learn about hiring opportunities.
Working at CALACS :
- Offer help and support services to women and teenagers in order to help them overcome the consequences of sexual assault, notably through the following activities: phone support and references, individual follow-ups, support group, Legal recourse and advocacy (IVAC, complaint to the police...);
- To ensure a role of prevention, education and sensitization to the problem of sexual assault;
- To help prevent and counter sexual assault and to support women who have been sexually assaulted in the steps following the sexual assault, in particular by sharing our expertise with government, health and social services, and legal professionals

Doing an internship at CALACS:
- Each year, we welcome college and university level interns in social work, sexology or human relations;
- You must be bilingual, feminist and your internship must last one year;
- To do an internship at CALACS of the West Island is to join the heart of the problem of sexual assault and to be part of a team that offers guidance and support;
